The Vacuette® CAT serum fast separator radically shortens the preanalytical process, with coagulation in 5 minutes. The total processing time is just 10 minutes, compared to 40 minutes with conventional serum tubes. The tube is coated with a mixture of blood clot activator and thrombin to enable rapid clotting.
