RDC™/RDF™ decalcifying solutions
RDF™ is a formic acid decalcifier based on a well-proven Christensans formulation offering a slower and more easily controlled rate of decalcification than RDC™. It is recommended for larger more dense specimens where a slower reaction rate is required to prevent localized over decalcification.
With RDC™, decalcification of small pieces of bone, for example from biopsies with trephines, can be completed within 3 to 10 hours. In addition to hydrochloric acid it also contains protein and membrane stabilisers to protect morphological and staining characteristics.
- Proven formulation gives consistent reliable results.
- Minimal tissue damage.
- Safe packaging for safe storage.
- Includes MSDS.
- Shelf life: 2 years.
