Starfrost® slides, polycat

Starfrost^® adhesive slides are ideal for pathology and cytology labs. They are specially treated to provide better adhesion of the tissue pouches or the cell to the slide. The intensive and cumbersome work to treat the slides in the lab has therefore become unnecessary. You can now order them pre-treated at - proportionally - much more interesting conditions.

Starfrost^® polycat slides have been developed for research in anatomy, cell-immunology, molecular biology and surgical molecular-pathology. StarFrost^® adhesive-polycat slides are coated like our StarFrost^® adhesive slides, but on a single-side in their predetermined area with Poly-L-Lysin, effecting a higher concentration of positive amino-groups. The action of StarFrost^® adhesive-polycat slides on frozen tissue is based on electrostatical and chemical attractions.
