UTM^® stands for Universal Transport Medium for viruses.

Polypropylene tube with internal conical shape, apart, safe and shatterproof.
Contains antibiotics to prevent bacterial contamination and fungous infections.
Available as filled tubes in bulk or as sterile packs with accompanying swabs.
Can be stored easily at room temperature during 12 months.
Convenient for collection, transport and cultivation of viruses, chlamydia, mycoplasma and ureaplasma.
The tubes contain pearls which detach the sample of the swab during the vortexing.
