Choosing between Giemsa R or Giemsa L Solutions
Giemsa R is a fast stain, acting in 10 minutes. It is used for dry smears and thick blood smears.
Giemsa L is a slow stain, acting in 20 minutes. It is used for wet smears and tissue sections.

The importance of Buffers
Assures a good quality of staining and a perfect reproducibility. It is highly recommended not to use tap water, as unpredictable and uncontrollable variations may occur.
