- Ultra-fast heating system.
- Hotplate coated with a matt, black anti-bacterial powder coating to provide a visual contrast for paraffin tissue sections and to inhibit bacteria and virus growth.
The CellTec mini hotplate has a very small footprint, making it ideal for use at the microtome. It is predominantly used to remove stubborn wrinkles from tissue sections and for re-orientating embedded tissue. It may also be used in microbiology for heat fixing bacterial smears.
