Made of acetal polymer.
Disposable plastic cassettes designed to hold larger tissue specimens during the embedding process, as well as in a storage cabinet. Dimensions are exactly the same as the ones of a regular Histosette® cassette but the Macrosette® is twice as high (12 mm). The one-piece integral lid eliminates the need for separate steel lids. They can be opened and closed as often as necessary and will always relock securely without danger of specimen loss. Large labeling areas are located on three sides of the cassettes for your convenience. The anterior writing area is slanted at a 45° angle to make the cassette more suitable to be used with certain types of cassette labeling instruments.
