Starfrost® polycat slides have been developed for research in anatomy, cell-immunology, molecular biology and surgical molecular-pathology. StarFrost® adhesive-polycat slides are coated like our StarFrost® adhesive slides, but on a single-side in their predetermined area with Poly-L-Lysin, effecting a higher concentration of positive amino-groups. The action of StarFrost® adhesive-polycat slides on frozen tissue is based on electrostatical and chemical attractions.
