The purpose of the Vacuette® Blood Transfer Unit is to safely remove the blood from the syringe into the blood collection tube.
Transfer of blood from a syringe into a blood collection tube is a dangerous procedure. The Vacuette® Blood Transfer Unit is designed to eliminate the risk of needlestick injuries and greatly reduce the chance of a haemolytic sample.
